Before this project, five people at a digital marketing agency spent their working days on repetitive posting and document editing. Three months after it, two Make workflows do that work, and 1,000 hours have come back.
What the five people were doing
Emailing leads one at a time and chasing replies. Writing a blog post for each lead, formatting it for search, finding an image and publishing it. Turning new items from the RSS feeds the agency followed into tagged, search-ready posts.
Workflow one: leads and their posts
Each lead gets an automated email with a personalised form link. When they fill it in, OpenAI writes the post, it’s published to WordPress with its SEO fields filled in, and the lead receives a preview link.
Workflow two: RSS feed to published post
Make watches the feeds. Each new item becomes an article with tags, a category and a featured image from a stock image service, and goes to WordPress.
The result
1,000 hours saved in three months. A post that took days now takes minutes. And because nothing is copied by hand between the form, the article and WordPress, the copy-and-paste errors went with it.
