lead sourcing and video outreach, before and after

The client is a leading recruitment agency. Its sales team approaches companies that are hiring, and it does so with a short video made for each prospect: a recording of that company’s own careers page, with the salesperson talking in the corner.

Each of those videos took real editing time. Finding the prospects was manual too, with ZoomInfo searches filtered by location, company size and industry and then copied into a sheet. And because nobody tracked when a video was finished, follow-up waited.

We built three Make scenarios to take that over:

  1. Leads come out of ZoomInfo against fixed criteria, location and company size first and then industry, and arrive in Google Sheets by webhook.
  2. For each lead, the careers page is recorded, and Filestack and Shotstack place the salesperson’s talking-head video in the corner. The video and the lead’s details are written back to the sheet.
  3. When a video is ready the team is told, and the sheet holds every video next to its company data.

Before it went live we tested each scenario against the filters and the video output, then trained the team to run it.

What changed

About 100 hours of sourcing and editing work removed. The filters are applied the same way every time, so the leads fit the agency’s market better, and every lead gets its own video without anyone opening an editor.
